The musicians in Scaramouche have been long serving musos on the circuits of Sussex and beyond and bonded over their shared passions for sound, rhythm and beats. Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and over the years we’ve grown comfortable jumping genres and mashing up influences.

Getting the groove on
Scaramouche's choice of material is classics, but not the same ones you hear everywhere. As the Malt Shovel says "Energetic, Eclectic, Undaunted by the difficult bits in decades of rock's back catalogue" Artists covered include: David Bowie, Elton John, Queen, Toto, Talk Talk, The Jam, Queen and many more.
NEW FOR 2025 - Scaramoustic
For more intimate venues or where the sound of a full rock band may grate on the ears of attendees or neighbours, Scaramouche is now offering a re-imagined experience involving 3-5 members and exchanging a full drum kit for a percussion based rhythm and a modified set, still including our favourite Scaramouche songs, but throwing in a selection of material that fits the group on the night. The video above is a one shot, unedited live recording of one such gig.
